The Dorys 2008, or How here's the best according to moi

An annual tradition begins.

The guilds may have spoken (yelling quite loudly SLUMDOG!), the Oscars may have read out loud some names (BUTTON! SLUMDOG!NOT-BATMAN!), StinkyLulu gave out the Lulus, J.D. has the Chloes, Nat's working on the  Film Bitch Awards and I figured: why not join the crowd and say what I thought was the best in film for the year? nice picks, especially wall-e and revolutionary road, which I thought was heavily underrated.

Yay, I'm glad you've decided to jump on the bandwagon! I hate to sound like an echo, but I love your choices- even if we don't exactly see eye to eye on Revolutionary Road ;). The Portman nomination is especially delightful...she gave an ingenious performance in The Other Boleyn Girl and it makes me sad that few people realized it.

Aw, thanks you guys!

I tried to keep 'em interesting, and I was surprised how well they ended up showcasing the films I found interesting and exciting this past year without being all 'oscar curmudgeon-ey' :D

Oh G-d I just love the "I've Loved You so Long" love!
This was such a great film and Angelina over Kristin at the Oscars was insulting!
I'm liking the Dorys so far.
