Codyisms ran amok, pop culture references went through the roof, indie soundtrack prevailed but all in all I really enjoyed hanging out with these characters. Honestly, using DID (while still staying true to it) to depict (dys)functional families makes for great television. Throw in lopsided boobs, Christian closet cases, Patton Oswalt, self-made sex toys, sexual harassment in the workplace, suburban ennui, a green VW beetle, a hellhouse, and really all I can say is: can someone please get Toni Colette her Emmy?

...and may they not ignore Rosemarie DeWitt as the stupid Oscars did!
ha, I had just spent this weekend doing massive catch up on the series (since, ahem, uh, I don't get it up here and have had to find other ways of watching) and though I still didn't get to the finale yet, I'm loving it all.
This whole show though, as great as it is, seems designed to get Toni an Emmy, doesn't it?
You really make me wish I had HBO.
I would also hope the Emmys pay attention to Brie Larson who stands her own as the Juno-esque teenager.
And yes Vance, it does - but I don't really care :P hehe
Yah, I agree, Brie Larson is terrific too, as is Keir Gilchrist. Both have Emmy worthy performances too.
In fact, the show is so good that it's even making me like Aiden... er ... John Corbett.
I love this guy...Patton Oswalt - self-made sex toys
I've had this loaded up in my browser ready to watch for the last two days.
But I just can't do it.... *unwilling to part with Tara*
I love the show and I also love romantic gifts .
